We are the Sheep

Tonight at my church we have Bible Study which it will be on John chapter 10, and I am actually glad we have made it to that.  Most of that chapter talks about sheep, and the shepherd, and then Jesus bluntly tells them that he is the Shepherd.  God refers to us as being sheep, in which sheep are considered the dumbest of animals, if the lead sheep went over a Cliff then the rest would follow, and of course if you look at how people are if one person jumped off a Cliff then their would be others that would follow, if one person jumped off a bridge and made his friends think it was cool they would do it.  I think it bothers my 11 yr old son that God considers us as being like sheep, and its all because sheep are dumb.  Looking at what Jesus had said and talked about in John Chapter 10, its actually nice to read, we are the sheep, he knows us by name, and if he speaks to us we will know his voice because we are his.  It also speaks of the Satan as well, for he comes to steal, kill, and to destroy us, and that is so true, as being a child of God you know that you have a battle every single day, and if the Satan can step in he will steal your joy, your blessings, and all the wonderful things away that God has blessed us with, and if he can cause you to spiritually fall and destroy you he will do that, if you give him an inch he will surely take that but he will take a mile if he can, he comes in like a roaring lion, but if you ever watched a cat then you can understand that more, a feline will watch and stalk their pray, and when the animal is not expecting it that is when they get attacked, its the same for us, at our weakest points that is when the devil decides to step in.  Luckily God is there, the Good Shepherd is there he is watching over us, and watching out for us, he even leads us to pasture and of course he makes sure it is safe for us.  God will not place us in the way of danger, and he will make sure its safe before we go out, a sheep to a shepherd means a lot and if one of those sheep got lost then the shepherd would have to go out and find it, one missing sheep will cause a flock not to be full.  There is so many people out there that are lost and just roaming around, but they have not found the Good Shepherd yet, but luckily God is just a prayer away, and I am so glad that I am one of his sheep and that he is my Shepherd because in today's time, you really need someone that will have your back, and even when someone does you wrongly well God is there to  Psalms 105:15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm,   and of course vengeance belongs to God.  So see God is our Good Shepherd and he is there watching out for us and keeping us safe and sound. :)

Taking God with you

Over the weekend my family and my church family headed to Michigan Adventures, which since its been planned since last year we was all looking forward to the trip, only problem I was facing what to do with my Grandmother.  The problem I have my family moved in with her to take care of her, in which my mother promised to help out when we needed, and none the less this entire summer she has completely let me down, I needed her and she would have other things to do, well when it got closer to our trip needless to say my mom had plans, well that left us with the problem of what to do with Grandma, but I have to Praise God for his mercy,  one of my sisters in Christ found us a lady that would watch Grandma.  I have learned and been taught when you go somewhere or get ready to go on a trip, Pray, but I make sure I pray that God places his hands around us.  I was once told by a friend she would always pray for the angels to surround her vehicle but God spoke to her one day and said what about me, so now I ask God to surround us, but I also ask him to be our eyes to see, and our ears to hear, when a person is in a vehicle driving down the road they don't know what could be coming at them, and with the radio on, or TV, and the kids you never know what you could miss, but I have learned when I go on a trip I would rather God be with us then anyone else, I know God hears and answers the Prayers of his saints, and yes if you are a child of God you are one of his.  God will keep you and protect you from an accident some people get so mad cause they get slowed up in traffic or they get stopped at a light, or someone cuts them off and they get behind schedule, well all those times God could of been keeping you from something really bad.  I can truly say I have trouble sometimes being on time, and I praise God for those times, because sometimes when we are running late if we would of been on time we would of been in an accident, 3 yrs ago went to cedar point with my church family and of course walmart was running slow with the doughnuts which caused us to be behind, but right down the road was an accident, and we could of very likely been in that accident since it happened the time we was supposed to go through, but all I can say is God kept us safe. On Sat. shortly after we left for mi adventures I made sure I prayed and God blessed us with a very nice day, it rained some, but we was at a water park so that didn't bother us, but there was some lighting and thunder so we had to wait, but after it passed it was so nice, the way the weather looked it was showing storms off and on all day, but that was not the case, God allowed us to have a nice day.  I am glad to be a child of God and I am glad to know that even going on a trip somewhere God can bless you with an amazing day, and a trip and keep you safe and sound, its amazing how a little prayer can really change things, and its all because our Father in Heaven Loves us and wants to take care of us, and actually I think he wants the best for us, but when we are ready for what he has for us he will give it to us, cause he knows we will take care of it then.

I am the door: by me if any man ener in, he thall be sased, and shavll go in ad out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come  that they might have life, and that they might have  it more abundantly.   All I can say today  God is trully a mercifel God and he will give us rest when we need it.

Gods Mercy

I like to get onto facebook, and I get on it a lot, but when I see people posting negative things about God it saddens me. God is a wonderful and merciful God and the Word tells us it will fall on the just as well as the unjust just read Matthew 5:45.  I have also read people say they can no longer attend church, and they have this anger against God.  I just feel like sometimes saying to that person, if it wasn't for God you would not be alive today, and your life could be a lot worse.  God will not fail us, we just at times expect God to do certain things, and when they don't happen we get mad, and say stuff, and we through ourselves a little fit. Since I have giving my life over to God I have gone through stuff I did not like, and situations I hated, but God helped me with everything, and there have been times I have been chastised, but all I can do is tell God that I am sorry, then I have to ask him for help.  God is there in our times of need, he promised it.  Sometimes I come across people that really get mad saying God never answers my prayers, and some people just do not believe in him because God did not answer their prayers, but in the Word God tells us time and time again to repent and change our ways.  Gods promises are for his children.  Psalm 37:25 says I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.   God is the same yesterday, today, and forever he does not change and will not change, and if God made a promise he will keep that promise.  I find that God may not come when we want him, but he is always right on time.  Times do get hard, and they will get hard, but God is always there to help us through them, as long as we have breath we can Praise him.  Times will be tough that is a promise but how we deal with them will determine on how fast we can get through them, or the outcome of the situation.  I do know this in order for a person to have a testimony that must go through some type of test, and if God fixed everything right away then we would expect it and have not need of him to help us out.  Give God the Praise in all things, good or bad, happy or sad Praise him, and God also tells us that he will guide our steps.  Take God with your to the store, and you just may find deals that are amazing.  Don't give up on God cause things are not going as planned, God may have something far greater for you then you could ever imagine.  Oh and once you go through something, you also then can help someone else that will be going through that same thing, you have gone through it already and you can relate to them.  God made you special and he loves you just for who you are, and no one can take the place of you, cause God made you how he wanted you to be.

A New Day.

Alright today is a new day, definitely everyday is, but I decided to start me a blog, not really sure what I am doing but with the different changes going on in my life why not. So far this year my family moved in with my Grandmother to take care of her, we finally got a membership with our local YMCA, we just love it, and I am sore today, and the kids will be going to a new school this year.  If you have any advice on a Blog just leave me a note.  I'm new at this and I will need all the help I can get.
